Here they use a big jaw to break up the castings and sort out the steel gears and shafts. That stuff is quite valuable. In the old days stout men broke them up with sledgehammers. So, what was your question Clint?

No Real ? the one guy just said it was not ethical to pay her scrap for the tractor when that is what she was going to do with it any way. The old yard here used to pick them up and drop them against each other but they sold out after the owner had a fatal accident The new owner sees it as being uinsafe and are more concerned about the oil and such in them I gree the gears and shafts are the valueable part.
