has anyone ever seen a green allis chalmers? i have found one that is very old very nice and very original but i have no idea what it is or what its worth, let me know of anything you can thanks kevin

Yeah, I've got a '28 A-C 20-35, they are probably the most common green Allis you are going to find, and any Allis that old is reasonably valuable. My grandfather powered his threshing crew with one named the "Green Goose", so I had to have one.

I believe it was 1929 when they went orange with the purchase of the United Tractor Co and the release of the AC model U, which to this day holds the land speed record for a stock tractor 64 mph

I don't know much of anything about Allis Chalmers, but I do know that they made a green Allis Chalmers, they were very early year tractors and they have some yellow on them too. I saw one in a tractor book and on Classic Tractors on RFDTV.

In the 1916-1926 era, they had one called a 20-30 that was green! I have seen a video of a restored one from the Hutchinson Minnesota show. Greg

Yep way back when A/Cs where green. But that was back in the 20s or 30s, not for sure what years or what models I just know they where at one time
