I wanna Farmall

I read some of the responces about my search for a farmall, and Bill in Colerado says he has one for me if I can come to colarado. The only problem is that I cant drive. Hillbilly OH said he would donate some gas money, and super99 thinks we may have something here. How much do you think it would cost to ship 3800lbs of farmall from Colarado to SoulthWest ohio? I could donate some depemding on the condition of the tractor and parts that would be needed.

I would expand your search to include any color at a good price close to home. There has got to be something.

Lanse, I know we're supposed to quit bashing you, so I'll try to go easy. Did you ever wonder if having an H would make your life that much better? I survived, miraculously as it may seem to the age of 50 before I owned my first H. Five years later I own three of them, and I don't suppose my quality of life has improved that much (because of them). Now I can afford them and have time to play with them. At $6 per hour (USD) do you REALLY want or need something that takes 100 hours of work to buy, 100 hours of work to get home, 200 hours of work to buy the parts to restore and then 200 hours of time to restore? You'll be running out of hours! Nothing wrong with dreaming, but might it keep for a year or two?

Just be patient Lanse, for every tractor you pass up on thats too high priced, too abused or too far away, there"s ten more just waiting to be found just under your nose. In our area you couldn"t swing a dead cat without hittin a farmall. It does seem odd you haven"t located one nearby but I"m sure there"s one out there somewhere close by with your name on it. Farmalls are a dime a dozen. Everybody had one at one time. The air is turning cold here. Christmas isn"t that far away. Have you put a Farmall on your wish list and sent it off to Santa yet? Happy hunting!

I don't think you should have it shipped, it will most likely cost more than it is worth. There are lots and lots of H's around and I know you could find one closer to you.

Many in the red states of IN, IL and OH. Our 2 cyl JD's were a rarity just west of Indian No Place.
Red was about the only color for miles around.

Hey, why dont you come over here and try to find one. Do what i did, ask around take out adds in the paper and put up flyers. Also, do this well making $6 an hour baling hay, and well searching the countryside well on a bike. Do it for a whole summer in 80-95 degree tempratures and then say they are all around here.

find one closer.

SERIOUSLY...there are about 60,000 Farmall H's between you and Colorado.

Don't waste money on shipping... especially for a Farmall H.

True, but I cant for the life of me find one in my immediate area, plus this one would be given to me, and i would love to have something from you guys, theres alot of Hs from here to colerado, but this one is one of a kind, seeing it is from the great people of this site. I would be willing to help make this happen, but i dont think i could do it by myself.
