What is the correct terminology to refer to a moon shaped drawbar on a JD 4020? And how much trouble is involved in changing over from that to a three point hookup. Can the 1/4 moon drawbar stay on with a three point? And what's up with the $150 top hitch arm I see advertised in places on the net? Thanks!

The JD top links are expensive because that's all that will fit. The generic aftermarket links with ball rod-ends will not pin to the tractor bracket since there is not enough clearance. You either have to get original JD, or JD replica, both are expensive. Should be able to find JD for about $100.

You need a rockshaft and rockshaft arms for the three point. The upper link arm is strong, has a fast attach to a ball on the outer end and is adjustable in length. So its more expensive (as all green paint) than the one at TSC.
