Well did you guys in the southeast get some of that much needed rain that came threw in the past day or two.
It rolled threw here Monday with a all day rain. Some sections of town only got 2 or 3 inches but other sections got over 10 inches. Got about 5 inches here at my house.
Now if we could just get the sun to come back out so we could get above 60 deg.
Suppose to be a good weekend though. Sunny and 72.

We got almost a half inch here in the middle of S.C. Our total for the year so far is 33.7 inches. Normal here is about 50" a year, so if we got that half inch again every other day until New Years we'd be caught up.
No problem, dude.

Here about 25 miles N/E of Nashville we are about 16-18 inches short on rain. We have received about 4" since Monday. I will gladly take all that I can have...

Here in NW Alabama we enjoyed about 3 inches over the past 2 days and are getting a soaker tonight. The almost biblical drought in this area has resulted in wells, stock ponds, and creeks drying up.Even with the temps in the 50's fields are greening up for the first time since June.We are about 20 inches shy of average rainfall this year, and are thankful for this bit of relief. We visited a relative the other day,my bride told her "you have a puddle,I'm jealous! We don't have one".But now we do,a few in fact.

Here in Webster County KY I have had over 2" this week and a little over 4 last week. Gotta say this week has been much better. It has fallen nice and slow and it did not have any tornatos with it. 5 miles south and east of my place there were alot of homes and barns torn up last week. No one was killed but a kid is still in the hospital. Do not know what it has done to the ground water but this past week is the first time Highland creek has run from April till now.

Temps are said to be from 60ish high to 42ish lows for the next ten days, hope it is not too late for the grass to grow a little before first frost.
