Okay, thanks for responding. Seems there should be awhole lot more posts on tool talk with all the guys who said they went there... Any way, 2 or 3 people asked about the "buggiesunlimited.com"
site. Here is my take; The site is the premier site for golf and utility cart repair and modification. Having said that, let me tell you it is run and used by a much younger crowd and they are a bit more like young people will be when they "start their mouths before their brains".
Enjoy talking with and listenin to you all, okay, except so and so...Scottyb

Sometimes Tool Talk, but I stick mainly to Tractor Talk because it's much more active. Bluegrassforum.com is another one I'm on.
I hardly ever visit oldihc.org, but that counts.

That forum makes me physically ill. The hate and venom that goes on over there has no place in public discourse, much less a tractor based web site. Just going over there and reading the subject lines makes me angry for weeks. I just don't know how some of those people can get out of bed in the morning without putting a gun in their mouth if they hate life and everything in it that much.

I live over there and I haven't ever seen this hate and venom you're talking about. We had a couple busted last Sunday morning before service for singing amazing grace to loud but thats about as bad as it ever gets.. Nothin but good folk over there with the exception of maybe a couple or three lo-life dirt bags.

That's a big mistake.

You say you "get news from Rush and Glenn Beck".

What you get from Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and others of this type of programming is entertainment - not "news".

True. The same goes for Air America Radio. Everybody in the media has an adgenda now days.

The point is, YOU needs to get information from several different sources and then YOU need to THINK about things.

Don't just repeat talking points that you have heard or read!

THINK FOR YOURSELF!!!

A place to talk about things the moderator usually deletes - not for gentle folk or children.

Good thing it is all by itself to spare us from listening to it.

On this site:

Tractor talk
Tool talk
Implement alley
Farmall
Crawlers
Using your tractor

Other sites:

Plowsite
The garage journal board
Maple trader
The cowboard
The home machinist
Mark KW's inside tools

Some of these I hit every day, others only once a week or so, it depends on how active they are. Inside tools, for instance is pretty slow, once a week would cover it. Plowsite, on the other hand, is starting to go nuts right now. With snow just around the corner, most days there will be several pages of new posts. Maple trader won't show a lot of activity until the weather starts to look like spring.
