The original subject was "lawn mower demolition derby".

Thats awesome. I have a lawnmower I want to take in. Its a 12 horse craftsman. It keeps stalling and things go wrong with it so I'm going to take it in. Was this in the US.

Actually , so far the worst injury has been a smashed thumb to my knowledge here locally..The idea is to disable the opponents tractor , not do bodily harm..They install side protection to keep from loosing a leg from an accidental side hit..Many tractors that do well have been the cheaper line of machines , not the big twins as you would think..B.J. does well with the Craftsman vertical shaft engines...Seems like the weak link is tires..They are easily deflated and flop around on the rims..

What next, motorcycle demolition derby?
Sounds like a great way to win a trip to the nearest hospital.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Do they go for the man or the machine?
