Broke the right side windshield on my 4630. Any ideas on how to get the new one in? Or drive it into town to a glass replacer. (15 miles) Thanks for any tips. Herald

if the glass is held in with a rubber gasket that is kind of u- shaped, what you do is put the gasket on the glass, spray the rubber with silicone spray, then wrap a cord or rope about 1/4 inch in diameter all the way around the glass rubber sealand hold on to the ends of the rope. have a helper hold the glass up to the hole, from the other side start the gasket into the opening by pulling one side of the rope, pull the rope slowly and the lip of the gasket will come thru the opening, work all the way aorund the gasket, have the helper press the window gently in place. it may take a couple of trys to get the hang of it.
