Drug this old diesel barrel home from a farm sale yesterday; been looking for a couple of electrics for quite a while now.

Trouble is, it will probably take a small fortune to fill the darned bugger up. :>(

Allan,

Nice looking used tank. Wish I had one like that.

Around here the DOT boys will grab ya for having the hooks outside the rub rails and the binders on the right side.

Pete

A friend of mine bought a 275 gallon diesel fuel tank last spring sitting at an auction sale. Gave $20.00 for it. Went to load it and couldn't budge it. The owner had filled it last fall and only used about 20 gallons out of. Had a manual pump though... Gene

i feel the same way. same sized tank needs to be filled at least once every 2 months. guess it's not as bad as the bigger farmers whose self propeled choppers hold at least 200 gal by itself. oh well. should slow down now that winter is comming. Just gotta get through combineing and i'll be fine. oh well. good luck Allan ;)

From the looks that's a 500 gallon tank at $3.00 you are looking at $1500 WOW hope you can get the farm fuel to save some money.
I heard these idiots out here going to drop the farm fuel let us by the road fuel and then get the tax back from the government, wonder how that will workout.
Walt

She ain't found my money tree yet Allan.(:~})

Hey that have those same credit cards here in Texas also. I think our visitors from the country just south of TX are issued them when they come to visit us.
