Dearborn Sickel Mower Clogging

Having problem with mower clogging at the end with grass. New end blade on sickel and new end cutting blade. Grass clogs in the hole on the runner. Has anybody had this problem??

There should be a skid that fits in that hole(if thats the one I'm thinkin' of) and it bolts up at the back with a selection of three holes.this determines how high the end of the bar sits off the ground.

Try epoxying a piece of sheet metal over the hole on the back side to keep out the stems. Some stalks just lay in a position to stick into things. carrying around 30 pounds of green is decorative, but not pleasant, JimN
