Thanks everyone for your replies. I have several 2510's and 2520's, I thought it might be a good alternative if they did not corrode and lasted longer. I'll have to check it out further. Thanks again. Paul

Advanced auto or any interstate batter dealer sells them. Stay away from the yellow top Optima because they have a shorter warrenty. Also you can"t use a regular battery charger on them instead you need a lower voltage trickle charger. I"m not all that happy with mine but I know some will argu. Why do you want one? I don"t think in real life they are that much better than a wallmart battery to justify the cost difference. If you run it dead you must trickle charge it. If you jump start one that is dead or put it on a fast charger it won"t take a charge that will hold. Pita if you ask me so I would only use one in a daily driver. Go to the local Interstate battery distributer and look in his pile of returned batterys. You will see a pile of them mainly because they got ran down and wern"t charged for days on the right charger. Best thing to do is grab them from gas stations that are discarded and trickle charge them back to life. Best batteries on earth are free battterys.

SAMS has them cheaper. All AGM batteries are not made by the same company.
I forget how much they are at Sams though. will check later this week, have to make a run over there.

The spiral cell AGM batteries are exceptionally durable. Brands I know of are Optima(avalible at NAPA and interstate battery dealers), or Exide Orbital avalible at Exide dealers, Napa or John Deere under the John Deere Spiral power brand if you want a spiral cell AGM battery with a JD logo.

Yea and dont forget that extra price for that logo either. Local dealer here wants 40 more for his than the Exide @ NAPA.

I found that Autozone has the best price here About $115 for a Red Top.Its not unusual for one to last 15 years. The fact that there is never any corrosion is worth the extra cost alone.

Almmost any-place(Auto Stores ) carry AGM batteries nowadays. The are expensive but worth the price. No worries about over winter non use, and they will last probably in the area of 8-10 years. Military uses them and I had them in my boat for a while. Try boat stores if you are near one.
