I own a 54 SMTA LPG that slowly leaks propane from around the tank valve stem. Tried to take it apart to put new washer in it, but the stem was cracked and now is broken. I have seen posts here years ago of some place in the midwest . Does anyone know what the name and or phone # is?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The tank service valve should be pretty common hardware for moblile LP tanks. I get my parts from

Acme Alternate Fuel Systems, Mankato, MN.

I tried local propane dealer, I showed him the valve and he rolled his eyes. Nothin like that round here boy....he said. Very frustrating owning lpg tractors in North Carolina. First of all, they are all bigger than anything that was being used at the time in these parts, and second, factory lpgs just didn't exist in this part of the country. Drew
