We have a tremendous number of cats in our area due to a lack of responsible owners. We are trying to adopt out rather than euthanizing. Is anyone in a area where these would be wanted?

Two months ago a mother cat shows up in our barn with two kittens. We finally trapped the mother after a month of trying and took her to the vet to get spayed. 55.oo and we are still trying to trap the large by now kittens. At least she wont have any more but a .22 may have to settle the problem before one of the kittens decides to bring a new litter into this world. Three weeks ago three long haired kittens showed up with no mother and the first mother would slap at them and growl when they got near. After they starved down some I caught them all and gave them to a local pet store. They were skinny and very small but they have a chance now.

Strange how this cat topic comes along. Got home from work yesterday and heard something whining in the bushes,it was a starving kitten and I have no idea were it came from. Never seen something so small eat so much. I'll know in a few days if it wants to stay or not. Since I don't have any dogs or cats I'll let it hang around if it wants to.
