OT: wheelhorse clutch

I know its the wrong board, but mabey someone here can help me... my clutch wont engage and stop my mower...kinda scary...then real fun...I mean, err, uhh, The pulley will move back and forth like its supposed to, and the belt is on the pulley, what to do? Like I said, sorry its way OT but mabey someone would know... Thanks

If the clutch is a idler that tightens and releases the tension on the belt, and the belt keeps driving even when the idler is loose, there needs to be guides made to just clear the back of belt on at least two sides this prevents the belt from "rounding outwards and driving. Effectively the belt will now be forced away from pulley contact. One eighth inch clearance is good when the belt is tight on the pulleys (clutch out) JimN

got to adjust thev rod that pulls the clutch to engageit...check the motor mounting to see if the motor moved back..sounds like you play rough with your toys.
