I think this is a good idea--sometimes we need help NOW and may not be able to wait until someone like me with POOR computer skills (I push the wrong button and loose all the info or the site or freeze up computer) can ask a question to help in a project, or wait a while and try to recover a reply. Hope you are sucessful.

There just isnt any live tractor chats anymore,,,,, think it would be great. Its just like everyone says its really tough to keep it going!! Seems there are some out there that just sit back and look for the chance to ruin it for everyone else, cant really understand what they get out of it!! Good luck!!

I have never live chatted, nor do I intend to. Waste of time....

If you want a tractor site idea, copy this site and copy tractor by net site.

If you can do that, then you will do good. If you can"t then you may as well be a participating member here.

Good Luck. I hope you know how much work it is to police a live chat. Unless you don't care if it gets out of hand.

Thats why they closed down the one they had here.

Takes alot of time to keep it clean fun.

Gary

Jamason,

If our local Ford dealer put up a sign advertising his product inside the local Chevrolet dealer's showroom, I'd think that the Ford dealer was pretty tacky. I'd also expect the local Chevrolet dealer to take the sign down pretty quickly.

Ya' know what I mean?

Tom, I don't think this guys idea/post is in poor taste or tacky. Why? He is going to offer something that this website doesn't - live chat.

Look to get any info and as many tractors as possible and be as accurate as possible. Never can have to much information on a website in my opinion. Just be sure to be accurate and helpful in any ways possible.

Is this the same person who started a new tractor site a couple of months ago? With a request for tractor manuals? Live would be good...or maybe not. Maybe live dialog with these guys would go something like this....
DICK - I can't get the wheel offa da tractor
JOE - hit it witha hammer
Dick - I did!
Joe - Getta bigga hammer
Bill - your problem is the wheel is yellow
Dick - whoya call'n yella?!
Anyway - nevermind...

if you mean I started a site? wasn't me. I have a hard enough time trying to post a message here and turn my pc on and off. Live would be good but to many out there to wreck a good thing
