Replacing a JD2840 - any pros/cons on the 6610S? Will be used mainly for ditch bank mower, 7ft commercial tiller, transplanter-mulch layer, pumping water, pond-aeration, etc.

They're a good solid basic specification tractor. The design is bulletproof, but the main drawback is the lack of reverse ratios in the transmission. If you can get past that, and don't mind a crashbox, go for it.
IT has '10' series styling but the guts of the tractor are from the '40/TS' series. It's got a Genesis engine and the modern castings. Again, a 40 series tractor with the manual 'style' 10 series controls and look. The transmission is bulletproof too, just lacking in reverse ratios.
Try one out and see how you like it. Should be a good solid tractor.

Appreciate the advice - I have heard mostly positive things about the tractor.
