I took the batteries out of my Mom's BCS tiller to charge it for her, and the twelve volt setting on my charger, well the needle went back and forth, back and forth. So I tried the six volt. Same thing. No the things arent on the termanials backwards. What do you think???

How many amps was the charger set on? Use the trickle charge or 2 amp setting for a little battery like that.

Small battery low amps or you will fry the battery big time if not blow it up in your face. I know on the lawn mower 12 volt batterys the box says not to charge the battery at more then X number of amps because of the size of the battery
