My 1957 Farmall 230 has the following information:
Tag number: 3076
Block serial number found under # 1 cylinder: 46025
Manufactured date on block: 3.6.C

Hope this helps you. Marv

I think that should make it a 1957 model. Engine was cast on Jan 2nd of 57.

Your s/n plate is attached to the right side of the clutch housing, not under the seat.LE

I reckon I must be blind.
This tractor has McCormick Farmall 230 in chrome on each side of the hood.

It also has a hydraulic package on it with a cylinder on the back and on the front.

Other than that, it looks like a farmall with a set of cultivators on the belly.

I will be tinkering with it next week to see if it will run. All parts are there only the fuel tank is really bad on the inside.

Carburator may need to be built and I'll have to get a radiator for it.
