Howdy all,

I have a Huber tractor with a bucket attahment out front a "belly blade" and a Ford Backhoe unit on the rear. I'm working on this for a guy who brought this unit to Alaska from Texas.

My question to ya'll is there anyone out there that knows of any of these is scrapyards or who carries new parts. I need some brake stuff and probably will need to do some work to the belly blade. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

There is a fellow that supplys some parts for thease. I think his name is in the old posts on the orphans board. Do a search there and it should turn up.

Mark: These're just suggestions if nothing definite shows up: (A) Googling "obsolete brakes" brings up a number of hits, but such places tend to be pricey (Googling "vintage brakes" seems to bring up mostly bikes and cycles). (B)Run the "sponsors" here, on other tractor sites and truck sites like aths.org (if they're a site sponsor they're likely to be dependable). (C) run aths archives for "parts and services" threads (the latest should be on page 5 or 6 of the running General forum)--the guys list places to get obsolete parts etc. (D) go to atis.net, click on "addt'l services", then on "salvage yards" and a list of tractor wrecking yards should come up. HTH. Good luck.
