Hey yall, I need to find parts to rebuild my hydrolics on my 1957-58 John Deere 730 Diesel. The 3-point lift wont pick up unless it is empty. Any help on where to look for overhaul parts would be of great appreciation.

Thanks,
Kris

Try E-bay they have a lot of parts on there you just have to keep trying.
I have a search that lets me know daily when something comes up on the Case LA it sends me an e-mail and is very good to see what they have on E-Bay.

Deere still has the o-rings and gaskets to reseal the rockshaft cyl. What they don't have is the cyl. sleeve. I'm still looking for a good one.

Get yourself a Deere parts book for your 730 and start throwing parts numbers at your parts man. I bet you will find most seals and orings are still available. Most likely you just have some seals that need replacement. Seems that alot of parts men are lazy nowadays and do not like to take the time to find parts for old machinery if the machine is not in the online parts book. You can also goto the Deere online parts book and plug in parts numbers and see if they are still available.
