An F-12 is a good choice, good stout reliable little buggers. I have a 1935 that still gets a lot of use. It hasn"t been to a show for 5 years but that might change soon. There are a lot of F-12 owners on here so parts and info are a mouse click away!

Hi Paul,
Welcome to YT, I dont post much but do read everyday, usually in the evenings. I do love the old iron and anything to do with them. It is habit forming.

Hi Paul. Welcome to Yesterday"s Tractor. I am over here in South Louisiana where sugar cane is one of the main crops. My brother and his wife were in your area 2 years ago. They are the area distributors for the CaseIH- Austoft tracked cane cutters. Go ahead and dive into antique tractor collecting. Its good for the soul!

Hi Paul,
I have an F-12, on steel wheels setting in a public museum in Nebraska. My father got it in 1944. It was his first tractor and it really did not get worn out because it was replaced four years later with a Cockshutt 30. The 30 was built in Canada. Anyway, welcome to YT it is always interesting to learn about others from far away.

Hi Paul, welcome to the forums. There is lots of good info on old tractors floating around here. You may want to post a little down on the Farmall forum.
