In light of the 9 million Chinese toys that are being recalled by Mattel for various issues (like lead in the paint), here is the crash test for the Chinese car they plan on importing. Keep in mind this is a 35 mph test and the dummy had to be removed in pieces. Imagine hitting something at 60 mphs. Yikes!

I can believe it. They are so gung ho for entering the world market that they are getting way ahead of themselves and they have little reguard for the outcome. I did do some reading on more links on that and get this, they are going to build them in IRAN! All I could say to that is COOL! Maybe that will thin out the terrorist herd. The Russian auto magazine that did the test is calling for removal from the market for the Chery Amulet. Heck, the Russians don"t even want it.

I talked to a tow truck driver last spring as he was loading my stepsons Dodge Neon for an outing at the Dodge dealer for repairs..I asked him what were the most popular tows nowadays..He told me Kia , Hyudai and Dodge Neons..Now there's gonna be another one added to the list??Why do we put up with this insanity..I remember the cars from the 60's...Tough iron...I beat up a '65 Ford Galaxy for years..I put a starter and an alternator and waterpump on it..Thats it>>>Well almost, Tires ....Lots of tires..I sold it when a '74 Vette came up for sale...That Galaxy lasted 4 or 5 years as a work beater after I let it go...

Buster the crash test dummy gets squashed like a roach on the toe of a cowboy boot! They really are trying to kill Americans, but they may find out that they can only kill the stupid ones, and their plan may backfire!

Let's hope they make their missiles as good as they make cars.

They've simply expanded the "crush zone" from the firewall (normal) to include the front seat area. Good news is that the little orphans in the back seat would probably pull through, if they were properly outfitted with car seats.
