Most common sense I've seen in a while.

Now that"s a sharp lil" rig! Doing a great job there! I"ve noticed the last two or three years, the state, (Ind.) only takes one swath on either side of the road/highway, when the road crew mows. They use to mow the whole durn ditch! I guess that"s what happens when you have $3 + a gal gas!!!

I really like when farmers mow along their fields like that. It's really a beautiful sight. I realize that it costs time and money to do it though. Where are you in Ill.? My mom lives in Wabash Co. along with an Aunt, Uncle and a bazillion cousins.

east of dwight in livingston county. we always mowed our ditches right up to the crop. keeps the weeds down, easy to spot junk in the ditch, and looks real neat and tidy too.

yup thats good ole illinois corn there!! should hit close to 200 bu/acre this year, maybe a little better. hope it hits 4.00 again. soybeans are doing good, but had to spray for aphids and then sprayed fungicide. had a couple patches of sudden death in the beans.

We are from south of Marseilles in LaSalle County. South of us the Grand Ridge Road ran east to Mazon then south on 47 to Dwight and then east on what? Rt.17 towards Reddick and Kankakee? Good Country.
