Leavin' tomorrow morning (Sun) to look at an Oliver 1950-T a fella has three hours away.Plans were made from an online classified I put on this site.

Was looking for an 1855 or 1955 with bad engine to put a Massey turbo combine engine in and Joel called me about his 1950-T. Hope it's better than the ones I've looked at.

Sounds like a heck of a nice guy. Can't wait to meet him(and see the tractor).

You guys have any tractor plans tomorrow????

I do. Going to start splitting my old VAC that I have been working on before I start painting it. Too nice of a tractor to have that puddle underneath from a rear main seal leak. Also nice tractors don't look good at a show with a big puddle underneath.

Went to a tractor show at Stanton Mi Old Fashioned Days yesterday. 102 tractors, but I just didn't have time or ambition in this heat to get any cleaned up to take. Oakley show is next weekend though. Ran into a guy yesterday with an Oliver 70,1941 model, restored 18 years ago, needs a water pump, offered it to me for $600. Trouble is it's in Waupau Ohio and I just don't know if I want to haul it that far. If it was unstyled or had the throttle on the steering column I'd be more inclined to want it,but it's an awful lot like my 39.
