If the paint and the interior is not trashed, that is a good deal.

It's a good rig if you plan on doing a little bit of heavy pulling in the local areas. (for mpg reasons)

Just sold our 89 F250 w/460 for around 4000 just last month, gas hog but would pull anything. we used it to pull our 32' fifth wheel and 18 ft boat at the same time. I think it liked working hard like that, also used it to haul our corn in for the stove, would fill up the back with about a ton and a half, boy that thing would just haul. loved the truck but mama got sick and so we sold, would buy another one if needed, great truck.

Up to you... 'Here', that would be a rusty old truck, and 1500 would be enough. Depends on the market where you're at, and how bad you want it.
I know that that money would buy newer here...

We sold a '95 F350 gas,460 2x4, dually, crew cab,XLT package, 96,000mi no rust for $4,000 last spring. No one made a better offer. Newer but more miles so the one you are looking at is maybe a bit high but not a lot.
We got about 6mpg towing a big trailer.

My haying partner and me have 90 ford 350 with the 460. they want $1000 for the new injectors to make it run correct.
If i had to do it over i would have passed it by even though we got it for $1800.
it has a an 8x12 flat bed.

I havent had a yes or no answer, but anyway, I will have to see how things work out. I dont think I ever heard of a 460 gas with injectors, does that 460 gas have fuel(gas)injectors?

you would be better off to find or wait on a cummins diesel mid 90s they get great fuel mileage and have all the power we ever needed

what do you plan to use it for? everyday forget it. if you want to use to pull trailer or wagons it will be a good buy. it WILL be hard on gas! i thought about getting one set up like that i made a parts run for the dealer i worked for. i found out why it had 2 gas tanks i think that silly thing got about 8 mpg.
