Some of you may remember a year or two ago I posted on this forum about a 110 year old buiding on our farm that either needed to be repaired or restored. After much deliberation we decided to restore it and had an Amish crew from New Wilmington, PA do the work. The wagon shed had been used as our produce stand for years and I guess will continue to be for a few more years. Rather than post pictures here I will give a link to a website that my daughter created of the 9 day process (actually 8 1/2 days, the first day it rained 6").

Link

Here is a post to a blog my daughter is doing of our farm activities this summer.

Link

Warning!! The website contains 110 images and is slow to load on dialup. Please leave comments here or on the blog if you wish.

Phil

I remember the discussion, and would love to see how it turned out. But for those of us "in the slow lane", could you post just a couple of pics in this thread? Thanks-

Hi

Looks very good you put a lot of work and expense into that building, after all of that my thoughts would be to do something with that tree that is hanging over the roof so you will not be doing it over sooner than you have to.Like a good trimming job on tree.

Yeah, that Norway Spruce has to be trimmed next. It's not nearly as old as the building, it was stuck in there as a seedling temporarily til we found a place to plant it. Guess it's a little too big to move now.

Really great that you could save that building. I liked the pics on the blog, but couldn't access your site.

I'm glad you saved that building.

I'd love to see the pix, but your site says "closed due to inactivity" or something like that. You may need to activate it so we can see the pix.
