Hi Gang;
This is the TAFFE tractor built in India based on the old MF35 from the early 1960's. Perkins 3 cyl diesel 45HP gross, with later 4F &1R with hi-lo gearbox from the MF240.
Despite low selling price, they have not sold in great numbers here.

No Cab? English Weather is Wet!! Maybe the reason for poor Sales. I was in Yorkshire once for a few Weeks with Relatives and it was so "Wet" I could not leave soon enough. It Rained every day and night and was foggy also. No one local paid attention to it but I sure did. Maybe that is why I am so content in my retirement years here on tne High Desert of Central Arizona.

They used to bring the TAFE 240 & 253 MF copies here. Sold fairly well. Don't know if they still are. Thanks for pics.

I like that longer wheel base those short choppy tractors are rough in the field to operate.

I believe some of the John Deere 5103? or similar tractors come from India. The castings look a little rough but very rugged. Will be interesting to see how India tractors fare.

I wonder if their copy will even come close to lasting as long as the originals have. Probably just close enough of a copy to really upset a person trying to find parts in ten or fifteen years. I'm sure a lot of guys will think that parts will interchange with the original tractor, but I bet they don't! Oh well. Have things started to dry out any on your side of the pond yet?

Considering they have been involved with MF since about 1961, and are in with AGCO I doubt there will be much of a problem.
