Geese have destroyed my corn and are now working on my tomatoes. How can i get rid of them short of shooting them?

Call the Fish and Game Department and file a damage complaint. It's either than or the 3 S's- Shoot, Shovel and Shut up!

I would use an airsoft gun, they shoot little plastic pellets that dont hurt much. You can get one at Wally world (wal-mart) for about $20

This is legal in some places, i dont know if it is in yours

Orange or green construction site fencing. Roll it up and use it again next year. Ain't pretty but it works

You could try a female (Goose) headed in the opposite direction.... Just kidding... Use the yappy dog in the garden trick. Don't stake him out there though, as the geese will soon learn he's staked and stay out of his reach. Course then you run the chance of HIM tearing thru your garden and digging, pooping and peeing on things. Immmmm m, yummy! I've found the best way is bird netting over the top of the garden. Pain in the butt to put up, but it does work, no way for them to land in there, and they can't land outside and fly in either...
