What are you all charging/paying for swetcorn. I lost a major spot. One of the places we were gonna be selling cooked ready to eat corn on the cob @$1.50-$2.00 a peice, are not letting us come back this year, apparently cutting into their own concesions I guess. SO, i am gonna have ALOT of extra sweetcorn, peaches and cream and bodacious, no sprays, and been watering the heck out of it. Should have first ears ready in 7-10 days. Gonna run an ad in local small town paper, but kinda wondering what the market is pulling right now, just dont see alot of sweetorn for sale right now for some reason.

Well, I guess it'll be $2.00 a dozen and go from there. Gonna try a new idea today, cob of sweetcorn on a stick, dipped in a thin batter of cornmeal, buttermilk and honey, then deep fry it and see how it turnes out, kids and Mrs will be the guinee pigs. I need something new beside just the cooked corn on the cob to make the good $$.

Call around, I have a farmers market set up at the local church, others take theirs to the main plaza in town.

$3.00 a bakers dozen at all the stands, been the same for years. 4/$1.00 in grocery stores in season. $2.00 a dozen you pick it yourself and leave the money in the coffee can at one local patch, again it's been that way for years. No one sells it already cooked that I know of, not even at fairs or carnivals.

The local Rotary club has a booth on a trailer, and sells cooked corn on the cob at the fair here. Folks call it "pirate corn"- its a bucaneer.

Check yesterday's New Era, either that or Sunday's paper. The Corn Wagon on Route 741/Millersville Road at New Danville.

I'm in the southwest part of the county, down along the river.

$4.00 dozen, my first coupe plantings is over and starting the third planting--small scale personel garden, the first ears were ready July 6th. I could have asked for a arm and leg for the first few ears. Very small ears, and not a whole lot of good ears, but tastes good what there is.

Bought some from a Minnesota seller last Saturday. For 15 nice big ears it was $5.00...best corn we've had for a long time.

You must have got a good start planting. Here in west central Indiana it is just starting to show up at stands in the past couple weeks that I have seen (local grown), haven't priced it yet though.

Got 14 ears for $2.50 at a local farm yesterday here in South Central Pa. Last year, the prices in that area dropped off to $1.00 - $1.50 per dozzen as the season went by.
