Can anyone tell me if there is any difference between an American 4455 and one that has a European Vin? Some dealers say that you can't get parts for the european ones others say that they are identical. I am considering buying a European number Tractor and have cold feet until I can figure out the facts! Thanks

Identical tractors. Just optioned different for the Europeans. They get a faster top speed, turn signals, brake lights, parking brake, fenders, license plate bracket, air brake compressor & valving for trailers. If you have the part number mother Deere will have the item on your dealer's counter pronto. Even if your Deere is a green painted Goldoni 20A. The same B.S. story runs around US dealers when somebody asks for parts to fit a 1840 that was imported from Canada.
