Not the first time I"ve seen this! Farmer renting my place a few years back came in with a flatbed semi trailer. He made it by cutting the sides and top off a conventional box type trailer.
What he didn"t figure on was that the sides and top were a truss system, and without them the bed was pretty weak.. Found out about three bales later! He left it on my farm, and I had to threaten him with removal at his expense, if he didn"t remove it.
