Nothing out of the ordinarty in my opinion. We have a Polaris HO 500 - a 250 Trail Blazer ,both 2001 Machines and minor parts replacements are expected. We also have a 2007 Artic Cat 500 and time will tell. I have to fight to get my turn on the "Cat". It has put the fun back into 4 Wheel'in. It rides so much better,Steering is a breeze and besides it's "Red"

yes, we had to rebuild a 400 b/c the boot cracked and it sucked dust into the motor. On the older 2strokes, they had a rubber wedge that fit between the motor/trans and the carb to keep the carb from just hanging and shaking that boot into pieces. we didn"t learn that until after the new motor.

I have a Polaris Sportsman 400 and the quality of this thing is mediocre. The transmission feels clunky and cheap, the driver pod blinks out from time to time and they advertise it to push snow, and do farm chores. But if the snow is deeper then 8" your screwed. Oh well I will quit *itching now.

I've never had this problem. I have 3 polaris 4 wheelers that are two years old.
