Built like a brick...

I was also up at my campsite this weekend.
Did some mowing and finally got around to leveling up my outhouse. I had a guy with a log skidder move it for me last fall.
It was leaning badly like the Tower of Piza (pissa?)
It was about 300 yards away since I moved my camper to a different location. A little far to run if you are in a hurry...
You can't have a regular "dry pit" outhouse here any more so there was a tank under it that I had to have serviced a couple of times each year.
Now I'm close to water, power and a septic system so I'm going to convert the outhouse to a bath house of sorts with a toilet, shower, sink etc.
I built this building about 15 years ago. Never did get around to putting a proper door on it. Just had a canvas curtain.
I had a local stained glass artist make the window.
It just goes to show why I like those old Ford tractors.
Since they too are pretty well built.

That's a nice one. Although its hard to forgive you for pre-empting the punchline. By the way, its Pisa.

We had a much more modest outhouse when I was growing up. Mom was on a homestead beautification kick one summer, and asked dad and I to tear down the old outhouse. We just looked at each other and burst out laughing. When asked why, Dad said, "How do you think me and the boy have survived all these years, living in a house with 4 women and only one bathroom?"
