How much is this old Farm equipment worth???

I just inherited a farm and a bunch of old equipment from my uncle.

I have a Massey Harris 44 diesel with a tricycle front, adjustable rear tread, and a three point hitch. It has been kept in a shed and looks and runs good. it had not been run in over 10 years but it started on the first crank after I put new batteries in it.

I also have an Oliver 545 diesel combine with a cab, 4 row corn head, and a 14' grainhead. A neighbor got this running and said that it was in very good shape.

Other equipment that I have includes an Oliver 60 twine baler with a Wisconsin engine. John Deere 12' BWA disk, John Deere 4/14" John Deere plow, 10' International Harvester graindrill, Oliver side delivery rake. 7' New Holland haybine. John blue 200 gallon sprayer, John Deere 4row 71 corn planter, 5' bushhog, John deere hay elevator, 1967 GMC dumptruck with a grain body, and a 1967 Chevrolet 3/4 ton stepside pickup.

My uncle retired from farming in the 70s, so all of ths equipment is probably from the 60s or earlier. If anyone knows what this stuff is worth especially the tractor and the combine please let me know. I grew up in the city so I don't know much about farm machinery. I have rented the farm to a neighbor and need to move this stuff.

I have an old JD loader that attaches to the rear of a model A or B and operates like a drag line. I would like to get going but don't know much about it. Can you give me some information on it or where to go to get some. Anything would be a big help. Thanks Bob

i have an oliver 1450 it is in good shape
the engine runs very good does not use oil and does not have eny leakes or blowby it is a 4cyl
diesel tractor needs painted

I have a l951 Alllis Chalmbers CA # CE153731CA Model # 7679. It was my granfather's I was wondering if anyone would know the HP of the tractor and maybe what it would be worth. The motor is froze. I would just like a ruff price.

Jeff the best way to see what this stuff is worth,arrange a nice farm equipement auction then you will know what it is worth when the hammer falls. What ever you decide I'm interested in those 4/14 John Deere plows if they're in good shape and beams not bent 3-500 dollars.

Want to sell an old No22 McCormick Deering Combine. Complete. Steel Wheels. Been sitting for years but is in good condition. Also a 50 foot ear corn elevator. Complete. Don't know the values and need some help valuing and advertising.

I have an old piece of farm equipment, in excellent condition. All I know if that it is Mccormick-Deering. It has the old gear box on it and has these numbers: No #7 M2291. Can anyone help me to see how much it may be worth.

Here in New Jersey, the MH diesel would go for $700 at most at auction. Engine parts hard to get, I hear.
Saw a 535 Oliver w/12' platform, good shape, sell for $250 two years ago. The elevator, depending on length, would sell for up to, maybe over, $1000 here, if in good condition. Saw an excellent 36' JD elevator w/ drag table sell for $1750 last year. Planter, $500, disk, $500. Plows not much in demand, $200. Grain truck, $1000 at most. If a #10, the IH grain drill would go for $400-$500, if older, scrap (parts availability). the NH haybine, if older than a 477, scrap (can't get rollers for anything older). baler, rake and sprayer, scrap (Oliver parts a problem, strict regulations force many to have spraying done by custom applicator). Not trying to be a jerk or anything, just reporting on how things sell here.

This is interesting nothing like comparing prices across the country.I think one thing we are forgetting though is this stuff might be in like new condition or in excellent compared to what we see at auctions now if this stuff really has not been used in twenty years.I agreed with the $1400 on the tractor in the previous because it has a three point figured some city guy would pay for it owned a gas one before all right tractor but would not buy another.In Northern Illinois the price you list for the elevator is the same,planter high though i can buy a 1240 for that price.Haybine had problems with the gear boxes too im told but did see one sell for $200. man said he had two more needed parts did have good rolls.Oliver rake worth more than you think guess people are buying um to put in their yards.Going for $100 and up.Id give $100 for the baler too,but i like oliver though.Also believe that the Jd plow would bring all of $200 here easy plows seem to be making a come back in price, scrap man not buying as many.As far as the combine if it really is a diesel you figure engine alone worth $500.

Hey I just bought a gas 4296mm combine it is the same as the 545 oliver only painted yellow.I paid $700 for it but she is in very good shape with both heads also.Now because yours is a diesel and if indeed it is in good to excelent shape I would have to say it is worth $1000.Where are located?The price the others gave you for the tractor is about right.

I agree with the auction. In my neck of the woods a lease on the farm is for the land unless you get paid extra for the barns & sheds. A lot more.
I wouldn't give the stuff away just for a rentor.
You probably won't gain back the loss just from land rent. You're from the city and a farmer has evidently rented more ground for farming. He should know it don't work like that, watch your pocketbook.
Check some of the old timers in your area out before you do any big land lease deals. A farmer with enough equipment to need your land should already have enough sheds and barns, sounds funny if your haveing to make more room at your place for it.

There is a huge surplus of later model combines flooding the market. I would estimate $500 at best. I would advertise on YT classifieds with a make offer statement.

Looks to me there is enough equipment for an auction. I can give you an idea on some items. Truck $3500 maybe a little more. The BWA disc if in great shape can fetch up too $500 they are popular for use in new shelter belts. The Combine I am sorry to say $1000 at the upper end. My 2/10 of a dime. Oh yeah the Massey tractor $1500 ???
