Well , I got two inches of rain last night and we have a tarp over a 3 foot tall fence kennel for a puppy we have that we forgot to loosen before the rain so it would drain . It had about 40 or 50 gallons of water in it this morning so I went to remove a bungee holding one corner to let it drain . Normally when I remove bungees I am very careful to keep the S-hook pointed away from my hand . Not this morning . It snapped and fish hooked the web between the index and thumb and ripped down to the muscle about an inch long then punctured and pulled my hand down with it . They wouldn't let me on the jobsite because I was bleeding so I went and spent 2 hours in the emergency room only to get three stiches and miss 3 hours of work . This was a fairly expensive day ! ...Randy

Taxied my Piper Vagabond out yesterday just to run up the engine and had a low tire. Too soft, since the valve stem got pinched on the rim and ruined the tube. Expensive: $119 plus shipping for a new tube.

Stupid cows. Eating that fresh grass when they have that nice hay you worked so hard to put up for them.

I'm sorry you fellas all had mishaps. I just thought it was only my misfortunes. Yesterday I arranged help to move equipment to another farm and leave me sitting alone with the planter and only 8 acres of beans to plant where I was at. Well it started raining with 2acres to go. I opened the throttle and ran in the rain. Had to fold the planter manually in the rain, noticed something sticking out of a rear tractor tire. Sure enough it was a deer antler with fluid seeping around it. 6 miles from my truck or tillage tractor and only way I could get cell signal was to walk out of the woods I was in and stand in the rain. after 2 hours I get home to find cows out. But since I was soaked i didn't even notice that it was wet in the creek fixing the fence.

Backin around the barn to load up some coral panels and my ball joints busted out . Three trips to town to get the right parts and some punk kid that just kept tellin me that is what the computer called for . He could`nt open a few boxes and try to match it up , 30 min. to closin time is what he told me . Lets not talk about changin the wheel bearings on the othere side of the same truck mon. or a incomplet wheel bearing kit in my commercial mower . It`s always been a pain in the A$$ to run after parts 2 or 3 times but with gas pushin $4 it hurts .

Just so you don't throw a track tomorrow. That can be a bigger job than changing a tire..

Might be a bigger job, but will not cost 360.00 for a new tire. If I throw a track it will brobably happen tomorrow. I will be discing a steep hill side full of rocks. Stan

To day after dinner I went out to finish planting beans. I was in the field for about a hour. Then I looked back by the cow yard because the field I was planting is across from the river. I noticed why those cows look like there out of the fence for. I decided to go back and take a look. I had my flat rack with a round bale on it for them to eat. Those cows pushed the flat rack right through the fence 10 of them where walking around my lawn and all over the place.

I'm guessing they ignored that bale and ate your yard instead....
