Allan bought a tractor.

Got it home and went right to work with it.

No new tires,no overhaul,no paint,no cab,no hydraulic adjustments,not even a minor tune up.

Allan did you get the right tractor? (:~})

Gary

Well, yes and no.

'Sides, you guys already know how picky I am. :>)

Yepper, cut 2 acres of grass right off the trailer..... ....and promptly run 'er in the shop.

Jury is still out by a long shot, but I'm thinkin' maybe a new engine and pretty darned sure there is a bearing out on the tranny input shaft. Heck, might as well paint the little guy while its down this far. :>)

And to top it all off, I really should be working on a hay swather instead of playing with this goofy little tractor. Wife said she hasn't seen me smile this much since I got to work on that 1066 of Gary's.

Dern! I love these old tractors! :>)

Is that an engine or a new fangled squirrel cage with a home for off duty hours.

I'm thinkin' maybe a 4BT Cummins conversion....then find a couple 'ol Woods belly mowers to put on each side...hydralic fold, of course. Then you got'cha a mowing machine!

I dunno,

Still rolling this over in my mind. But, this little guy is 30 years old and I'm wondering just how much life is left in 'im.

I always get started down these trails and don't quit 'til I have a new tractor. 'Tis a sickness, I think. :>)

He was complaining it was way to light in the front end.

I knew I should have never taken those weights.

Now I feel guilty.

What's it cost per lb. for UPS.
