Umbrella Help

I need to mine the collective experience of this group. Thinking about buying an umbrella for my IH 444. It's been 50 years since I worked under a tractor umbrella. Questions:

1. I use tractor to mow about six hours a pop,
every two weeks. Mowing pattern puts sun at my left and 4-6 minutes later at my right. Some times I mow until sundown. So , will umbrella offer any protection late in day and ,given mowing pattern , will I have to be constantly adjusting umbrella ?

2.Not much wind load at my place but how much wind load will an umbrella take?

Thanks for any and all advice.

Kajun, I put an umbrella on my tractor 3 or 4 years ago, it can be adjusted up and down, left and right to give pretty good shade, but it isn't very good on a windy day. I think the buggy top type may be better and wish I had bought that kind, but as I have never had one I'm not sure, they just look like a better setup to me.

I use buggy style on all my cabless tractors and I really like them. Stand up great to wind, and offer great protection from the sun. I had one "umbrella" style, and I hated that. I highly recomend the buggy style cover.
