Hello,

I picked up a set of two tires at an aution last week and am wondering if any one would have an idea as to what they would fit, never seen any like them. They sold in a stack of four and I needed the other two. They are 16.9-26. They are on red 8 hole rims. The rims are not much, some one cut the lug nuts off to get them off. The tires are in real good shape. They are a little cracked but have a whole lot of tread left. I am guess'n they came off a old combine of some sort but not sure. Thanks

Dave

Some older utility and orchard tractors used 26" tires on back. JD AR AO for example.

Eight bolt rims/26" tires would be from a combine. Nine bolt rims would from tractors. Mobile homes on 26" rims would never get under 14' tall underpasses. Armand

Sounds like an old combine size. Not much use for that size now other than some bigger combines use 26 inch on the rears.

Mobile home trailer tires were an odd size, and won't fit normal rims. Also, they aren't legal for hiway use, except for delivery of a mobile home that is setting on the trailer using those odd sizes>

Mobile home tires are not an odd size. They are the exact same size (and usually tire) as are used on heavy equipment trailers.

These are tractor type tires. Mobile home tires are 14.5. Did not know they were not leagal to use on other things! Thanks!
