My cousin owned a 91 dodge pick-up, and the other day he rolled it, he is absoulutly fine, but we were talking and he has a junk h farmall, that i rebuilt the trans in for pulling, but the motor cracked, we had the bright idea of taking the 12valve cummins engine out of the dodge and putting it in the tractor, we know it would be alot of work, but what would you folks think of this idea, i have seen many farmalls converted to v8's 6's and one even had a harley engine in it, i just don't want anyone to bash us, its all for fun.

Go for it!!!! Then get some custom had decals with "HD" & really tell some BS stories to the people that aren't knowledged in old tractors. Like how your grandfather purchased it new from the dealer, Farmall used the H design with a Cummins Diesel, an Super M heavy duty transmission, to create the model "HD" didn't sell many in states but was a populer model Japan. Ha Ha!!

I think it is a great idea. My brother rolled his jeep last winter. It has a good 4.0 straight six in it. I've been thinking of putting it in a Farmall H. Just not sure how to do the computer controlled stuff.

Think you might find it is a little tight inbetween the frame rails on the H.... I would put it in a M, but you will have to make the frame rails longer...

There are a few M"s out there with the cummins 4BT motor in them...same motor as the one in your truck, but 2 cylinders less..
