I found a 1980 60" cut Wheel Horse tractor with a 4 cyl water cooled Renault engine that doesn"t run. I was told parts weren"t available - does anyone know where parts can be found?
Thanks, Dennis

Jacques Renault Parts in California should have anything you"d need. I just bought a set of points for my 61 Caravelle at O"reilleys auto parts--Napa said unavailable

Yes, you are correct, there are very little parts avaliable for the engine and not even much left for thew tractor. It is a brute of a tractor, but did not go ver well when they came out. You might be able to find a few parts through NAPA or a good auto parts store, but things for it will be slim to none in the way of parts for the engine.

I don't know about Wheel Horse but Toro around 1980 used the Renault 4CV engine from about 1960. Little push rod 4 , wet liners. Same engine in Dauphine with little more cc, dist and carb. Parts for the car engines should not be impossible. Good Luck!
