Does anyone think about armagedon or "the end"?
Do you have any predictions?
Or Bible predictions. Which bible or religion do you feel is more accurate.
I know this is a wierd question but I think about this stuff.

I would advise anyone to not be concerned about this, just be ready! Your life or mine could end any time!

My unsolicited recommendation to those who think that the end is near is to give away all your belongings right now. You know it is easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle then it is for the rich to enter the kingdom. You can list everything you own as “free for the taking” in the YT classifieds.

I normally don't respond to things like this but.... armagedon?!.. naw! This is my own opinion, so take it for what it is worth. We, the human race, will be responsible for "The End ". This whole gas price thing and Iraq deal is nothing but a whole bunch of political B.S. We shouldn't even be in Iraq. Not that I'm taking their side, but how would you like it if I stormed onto your property and started telling you how you were going to do this and that. Your going to things my way and thats it! I say if they want to kill each other let'em do it. We, as Americans, need to stick together and find out ways to survive by our selves and the hell with them. I think this is beyond God's hands. A miracle is what it will take. Like one of the others said, I don't want to be around... when ever, what ever, happens because it will be bad. The depression will be a circus compared to what is coming.

That's pretty important in my opinion. in reply to Jim K, 05-04-2007 17:45:19
If you have the intellectual and literary gifts to appreciate it, you could read the book of Revelation with a good Concordance and understand it all.

If you are like most of us, the following assurance has to do. This is a somewhat flowery King James Version text.

John 14:1-9 reports what Jesus said " Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

If you are interested in end time, you should watcn the history or geographic chanels on tv when the one hour program airs again about the astroid that is supposed to collide with the earth on April 13, 2029. If it doesn't hit then there is another window in 2036. So they say.

Kinda hard to answer that and not get carried away. To try to be brief Faith in Jesus The Christ. Not any good that I have done, but his love and my acceptance of his gift. I have no predictions the Holy Bible says all that is needed.

I can't believe someone hasn't blown the whistle on this non-tractor topic yet. I hope they don't. I am very impressed with the general tone of responses so far. There is NO question, we are in the end times. While some details of Bible prophecy can be difficult to understand, the main points are pretty clear. We ALL need to be reading our Bibles daily. We are promised the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth.

I'd love to be a part of a study group.

Glenn

PS Jim, I sent you an e-mail.

Jim,

Think about it? Yes. Obsess about it? No.

I don’t make predictions but there is an abundance of prophecy in the Bible.

What is your understanding of Armageddon?

You might click on the link below and scroll down to “Apocalypse” under the Study forum and begin with the “Definition of Terms” thread. If you want to discuss some things sign up and I’ll activate your membership so that you can post.

God Bless,
Marc

Humm, There is a lot of figurative language in the Bible. I believe it is all true but each man tends to interpret it in his own way. The Bible scholars do not all agree so I don"t worry my head about it. I am not afraid to die. But yeah, that being said, I see the world getting worse and worse. I do not think we can even imagine how bad it will get before the end. I"d just as soon not be here to see it.

i think you're right about the getting bad. i know i don't have this 100% somewhere in Bible it reads things will be so bad no flesh will survive but God will stop or end it before things go that far.

I got enough troubles to worry with as it is. Like is that main bearing bad in the 450. Are the water gaps down, am I going to have to chase then dang cows tonight, will blue mold eat up my tobacco crop, will it rain on the hay, will the oldest boy straighten up, hope this old truck makes it home, will I be able to pay the bank, I hope that old baler holds together, it goes on and on. I don't have time to think of this, what little room I have for thinking is full.

"I don't have time to think of this," With all due respect one does not have time, to not think about his relationship with God.

Somethings gonna happen ion the next few years, dont know what, but something HAS to happen, too many things going the wrong direction. Is really depressing if you look at it for our children, but then again, I was taught and I belive that peace is in the afterlife with God,

Are you thinking we might be CLOSE to armagedon? I'm not depressed enough to ever give it much thought. Not when I see the two miracles that have happened with my cattle this week. First a calf coming back from the dead, then a down cow that everybody told me to shoot got up. I think sometimes that the Good Lord is trying to lead me to becoming a preacher.
