I had to drill the heads off, then get the rest out, I think with vise grips. I put hex head bolts back in place, they stick up, not flush, but at least I can get a socket on them.

Best I have seen for screws is a screwdriver which is steel all the way through the handle. Hammer on it with an air hammer while turning it with a wrench or vise-grips.

Do you have an air hammer ? put a tool in it that resembles a punch and start at the edge of a slot working at an angle in the loosen direction.

I have used a punch and a BFH and done them by hand too.

Had the same problem when I did my B ,I ground off, chopped with a chisel to get the heads off to remove the platform, then was able to free up the threaded shanks of the bolts with penetrating fluid to get the bolts outyou also could use a drill to drill off the flared head of the bolts
