Hi David, had a very good tractor road run from Ingleby just north of Lincoln. Went all arround the villages at the bottom of the Lincolnshire cliff and had the lunchtime stop at the playing field at the bottom end of Ingham village just beyond the village green. I took my 1956 Fordson Major Diesel tractor wich belonged to my Uncle till ibought it in his retirement sale in 1993. It carries the Nottingshire reg number VRR 19 and has bee in the shiny comic (tractor and machinery) a few times. MJ

55 miles on an old tractor, sounds like fun, on a nice spring day. Have done 20 a few times. But have a couple of questions. The registration for your tractors, is there a one time cost or a yearly one? Inspection for safety equipment, yearly, and how tough is it to pass. Going 55 miles on narrow two lane roads, are auto drivers polite? Or is there occasional fist waving, for delaying them in their important errands?

Hi MJ;
Glad you had a good road run. You will have to come down here to one of the Pembrokeshire events.
Just about to do a 55 mile trip myself, collecting my newly acquired 35X from Carmarthen and driving up over the mountains - will wait until the sun is shining though.
Cheers David
