Don't be wishing for any of that wind! You'll get it plenty of it like we had most of week drying things back out way too fast. Missed the last few rains around and already got cracks in ground again.

It's 11:35 PM here in South Jersey. The weatherman just reported the wettest April since 1876. More than 9 inchs of rain this month. It will be 2 maybe 3 weeks before I can get in the fields.

Got wild fires going in parts of the state and biggun' in Waycross GA.

We are about 5-6" behind schedule. Looks like garden is gonna burn up then get flooded. Weather Guessers forecasting a very active (VERY BAD) hurricane season.

Did you get the smoke a few days ago from that GA fire? We got it all the way down in Tampa.

Yea, we were socked in like heavy fog for nearly 3 days. Wind shifted and it cleared up. They are still fighting that fire.

Here in SC MI we've been a little dry until the last few days. Now we'll be a week before we get into the fields again. Indiana & Ohio seem wetter than Michigan.

It is dry here in Arizona also.Don't know what to compare the dry spell too as it has been dry longer than most peoples life span. Sometimes I see it raining off over Vulture Mountain but it evaporates before it hits the ground.Oh well: as long as the water comes out of the Faucet we will be ok and when that stops you People in "Gods" country better look out as you will be overwhelmed with all the People of the South West Deserts looking for something to drink.The way Construction spreads it [water] around down here to keep the dust down they act like there is an unlimited supply.

John;

Where you at in AZ? Are you retired? We retired,sold out and moved from NE to the south of NM not too far from the Rio Grande. South of Las Cruces. Dont have to shovel no snow,check no cows or cut firewood.

If you ever come this way and Have time to visit I might be tempted to buy the coffee.

Not wet enough here, drought last year, not enough snow, a little rain but fire danger is higher than it should be this time of year. Lots of lakes etc low, some ponds never filled up since drying up last year. But, frost is still not all out. Good lluck!
