And Almost 10K for a SMTA? 5-7K M's and SM's? A lot of wishful thinking going on.

I have an LP head on my Case LA an I wouldn't sell it for $2000 to darn hard to come by now. I also have the the LP pistons cost me about $700 with shipping a couple of years ago. Walt

$2000 for the LP head will never happen. It wouldn't take much more cash to buy some serious HP in terms of another tractor. Some of these guys selling are from another planet. It is called Ebay, where sellers do a lot of buy backs.

I was thinking that for 2000 one could stroke the crank and buy custom pistons and get more horsepower and/or compression using a gas head without the extra expense of a propane head.Would a propane head flow better than a gas head or is it just the cc,s in the combustion chamber one is going for?

Tractor pullers want them. They increase compression.
