CAN ANYONE TELL ME IN SIMPLE TERMS TELL ME WHERE THE LEADS OFF A 6 VOLT GENERATOR SHOULD LEAD TO . IS IT THE STARTER OR THE REGULATOR . I HAVE NO HARNESS SO IM STARTING FROM SCRATCH . I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ME FIND SOLVE THIS . THANKS , ANTHONY.

Anthony//If you have a 3 terminal regulator? Should be bat/gen/field. f on reg to f on gen//gen on reg to A on gen//bat to bat power.I think that systen is pos. ground.

I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT INFORMATION , IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT FOR A ABOUT A DAY AND A HALF . I ONLY HAVE TWO LUGS ON THE GENERATOR INSTEAD OF THREE . HOW WOULD THIS CHANGE THE WIRING PATTERN ? THANK YOU AGAIN , ANTHONY.

This is not rocket science. Matcht he field terminal on the reg to the field terminal on the generator.

match the gen/arm terminal on the reg to the gen/arm terminal on the generator. ( gen/arm terminal is the bigger of the two on the generator )... 6v units will be +grnd.
