Here we go. This little monster was dropping ping pong size hail 70 miles east of here by Tulia TX before dark. Suppose to be more of that tomorrow mixed with tornados in TX & OK panhandles so might not be much wheat left if this keeps up.

Glen, If you are 70 miles West of Tulia, you must be almost in New Mexico? I worked the Fall of 1959 in Love's grain elevator in Tulia. Tom

Aloha, I remember when I was stationed in Lawton Oklahoma for advanced training and the sky would go from blue to black. The wind would pick up real fast and there would be lightning and thunder (nothing like this in Hawaii, real spooky). That cloud looks like a mushroom cloud (glad I live in Hawaii).

Mahalo,

I know you fellows gotta be pretty thick skinned to farm down in TX and OK.

Here's hoping you folks have a good crop this year from a cornbelt farmer.

Blane.

Hey Glen -

The kids and I were out watching stars tonight in the Oklahoma Panhandle and we were watching the lightning off in the distance from the storm in your pictures...

We're doing fine on moisture right now and the wheat looks so good, I just as soon none of those storms come around right now!

Howard
