I've been dozer hunting for a couple of years, want a Cat, but found this on JD 450, should be parallel for the 350: 450 made in 1965, B series 69-73. They had dry clutches. C series 1973-84, D series 84-87. They had wet clutches. Weakness? Check transmission housing for cracks. Loose bolts and wear on frame lets the tranny twist. Steering clutch/brake adjustment is critical to prevent burnout.

You better double check the year - that does not sound right, not even close. We sold 350Cs new - late 1970s as I recall, and a B has to be older. A 350B can have either the 152 engine at 39 horsepower or the 164 at 47 horsepower.

the winch, if it has one, is the strongest point. The rest of it is a weak point.
