Hi Gang;
Been to a local ploughing match (competition) this weekend. A bunch of dairy and sheep farmers came down from the hills to scrat around in the dirt - anybody want to see these photos - dont want to bore you to death with old tractors and crooked furrow pictures LoL. Let me know.
The "current" good wife went shopping in the town with her friend whilst I was there !
Cheers David

Please post. I enjoy your photos.
Does World or International Ploughing (Plowing) Competition still exist today? I recall a local farmer in So. Minnesota (about 5 miles from where I grew up) participate (and win) in such competition back in I think late 1950's early 60's. He had a John Deere 50 and 2 bottom mounted plow. I remember him shipping his tractor & plow to England, Scotland, somewhere over there, for competition after winning the U.S. competition. Thanks
Loren

Hey David , keep them comming!! I reallize we (or at least myself) are quite stingy with the words "thank you". Guess being raised on a farm with 4 boys and no girls ya just don't say it much. A good rule of thumb , at least on here though , if you are not getting heckeled to death then you must be doing something right. Some of us will never step foot outside the USA. It's nice to see how other people live and their landscape too. THANK YOU DAVID!!!
