----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -- Where one of my daughters works there is also a off campus colledge facility. One day when my daughter came out of the building she found a young lady sobbing and very upset. From the upscale clothes and general looks my daughter thaught the girl must have been mugged. No, it was just that her dangle on her key ring would not open the door of her Beemer. Shelley asked her for her keys and told her she would open her car so she could get to her purse and cell phone. Shelley put the key into the door lock and turned it and open the door for her. The girl asked Shelley how she knew to do that and was told "my dad showed me when I was a little girl". A couple of weeks later the were both walking out at the same time and Shelley used the remote start on her car. The girl was amazed and asked "how did you teach your car to do that?" "Lots of paience and car snacks" "Where do you get car snacks?" "Murry's" (local auto parts place). Is this funny ao is it just me? _____ _____ _____

The other day my wife heard on the radio that if you lock your keys in the car you can call home with your cell phone and have someone at home click the remote on the spare keys into the home phone and if you hold your cell phone by the car it will unlock the doors. We haven't tried it yet but we are going to try it soon. A couple weeks ago I had to grab the spare keys and make a 35 mile round trip to where she works because she locked her keys in. I clicked the remote to unlock it while I drove by her car and called her to tell her the car was unlocked while I drove home again.Jim

Won't work, cell phone is digital signal, car remotes are totally different frquencies. Go to snopes and see the explanation on this and some other cell phone "urban myths".

My wife is 82 the other day she went to town to get a Mammogram her appointment was at 2:00 I told as she left not to forget that it was at 2:00 and to drop my tire off my Cockshutt (35) at the tire place for repair.
When she returned later that night she was mad because she missed the appointment she thought it was at 4:00. I went out to get the things she bought from the Ranger and when I looked in the back there sat this pretty little almost new tire an rim off a Kubota.
I'm thinking she might need a leash now.

Several years ago at work, we were headed into an important meeting when one of the guys, Steve, asked if someone could give him a ride home after work, as he had sent his car with his wife to have the oil changed. One fellow said he'd be glad to take him home.

One of the other guys looked at me and winked, then said, "Did you tell her to have the air changed in the tires since warm weather's here now?" Steve said "No....should I have?" At that point, I said "Absolutely!" Steve excused himself from the meeting to make a phone call to his wife. She evidently told him what a dummy he was, as he came back red-faced and wouldn't speak to either one of us for days!

Two kinds of people in this world. Those who "get it" and those who don't. You did a great job with your daughter. She "got it".
